Children With Medical Handicaps

CMHCMH is a health care program linking families of children with special health care needs to a network of quality providers and helps families obtain payment for the services their child needs.

Eligible children are ages newborn through 21 years, permanent residents of Ohio and under the care of a BCMH-approved doctor. Some eligible conditions include AIDS, Cancer, Congenital Heart Disease, Diabetes. Hearing Loss, Scoliosis and Spina Bifida.

Through the three service programs offered – Diagnostic, Treatment and Service Coordination – families are linked with quality care providers, including doctors and pharmacies, in their local community. A Public Health Nurse from Morrow County Health District will coordinate services with, and for, the family throughout the entire process.
